WHAT IS LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE MASSAGE?

Lymphatic Drainage Massage can be used for pre and post-Surgery. Lymphatic drainage massage increases lymphatic circulation and helps detoxify the body. It drains sluggish lymph nodes.

What are the benefits of lymphatic drainage massage?

The purpose of lymphatic drainage is to cleanse and regenerate tissues and organs to promote balance of chemistry. It stimulates the movement of lymph and encourages the formation of lymphocytes that produce antibodies increasing the body’s resistance to infection. When tissues have been damaged, lymphatic drainage helps stimulate the lymphatic system to remove waste more rapidly from around the inflamed tissues.

Why is it important to get a lymphatic drainage massage after surgery?

If the lymph pathway is congested, damaged, or severed, then fluids can build up in the connective tissue leading to edema, swelling, and inflammation. If there has been surgery or trauma, a lymphatic massage allows the body to have a quicker recovery.

What is the best way to get the lymphatic drainage procedure done?

I recommend that anyone going into a surgery, have a pre-operation lymph drainage session. Once their physician allows, they should also have a post-operation session. Working with patients who take this approach allows them to heal at an accelerated rate and get back to enjoying their quality of life, quicker than expected.
